Director Jane Gaunt and Operations Manager Katherine Jones had the pleasure of presenting to the Women’s Pensions Network (WPN) at Evershed Sutherland’s Manchester office back in February.
The WPN invited Jane and Kat to talk to their members about how women can promote themselves, both internally and externally, in their careers and how they can “lean in” to opportunities that present themselves, avoid underselling their skills and achievements, and how to become comfortable with self-promotion.
Jane and Kat enjoyed putting together this presentation and called in some help from a number of successful women within the pensions industry who shared their top tips for self-promotion and building confidence via an inspirational video which you can find in Ardent Talks.
It was a fantastic evening and a great chance to reconnect with contacts and make new ones. We are grateful for the opportunity, and we always enjoy a trip Manchester.
